They are not refrigerators but coolers.  If you need to store medicine at a constant temperature you should check with the Special Needs Department per cruise and they can provide a small refrigerator for medicine.

Exactly.  
 

We were served some shrimp and other items and decided to keep them for later.   Our Butler seen the items as he was restocking some of the drinks and discarded the stuff we were saving.   He  told us food items should not be stored in the cooler as it isn’t cold enough and he would supply us with fresh food if we wanted it.
