Is Chef's table included in Star suite cabin price?

We are in Star suite class on our Oct. sailing, and we want to do the Chef's table.  I have seen on the Royal Car. FAQ page that it is.  Other people have said it is but there is a fee for the wine, which we are fine with.  Still, other people have said it isn't included.

 

If it is, and  we book it on line now and pay for it, to reserve our spots, will we receive OBC for reimbursement minus the fee for the wine?  Or, should we wait and have our Genie take care of it for us?

 

If you have sailed in star class or equivalent, can you please  share your experience.  We are really confused.  Thanks.  😃

If I remember correctly you had to pay for it. Not sure of the status today though. Hopefully someone who has sailed recently can say for certain.

Good question. The RC website isn’t very clear. I think you should check with your travel agent or cruise specialist ( whomever booked the cruise for you), or call Royal Caribbean customer service.

When we sailed star class a couple of years ago - it was included but the wine was extra (like $20). 
 

At the time some people weren’t being charged for the wine and some were - but I believe it’s supposed to be charged.

I’d send an email to the suite concierge on the ship you’re sailing and ask him/her.

The dinner is included, the wine pairing is not. We are sailing in 2 weeks. Our genie told us to pre-book it because it sells out fast. He will reimburse the cost minus the $25 per person wine charge.

I can confirm this. Did it in June.
