We cruise in suites and have never been escorted to our suite in our last 6-7 cruises

Have you been on the Sky in a suite?  Maybe it’s not a usual thing  But, I’ve also heard of others also being escorted on the Sky.
We haven’t been escorted on other ships, except the Sky.  Again, I was posting to @Mara4166. about their upcoming cruise.

Usually. But you never know if an inspection is being done.

Sometimes, they can't get all the passengers off the ship to "zero" it. The medallion should help with that one.

I was watching a YouTube video of a cruise review and the author mentioned that they had to wait almost 2 hours because eleven people on the cruise before them tried to stowaway on the ship, delaying almost 4,000 people from boarding.

Never been on the Sky but on a ton of other ships last one was the Majestic in April. Will board the Royal in 6 days not expecting any escort. I know where my site is

Oh boy... I often have wondered if anyone has tried this.  I just don't see it working without getting caught.  Imagine someone pulled it off.  What happens when they ultimately go to leave the ship?  They won't have a cruise card or Medallion to ping out and bingo!, security has them.  What do they think they will do with their luggage on the next voyage?  I wonder if it was some sort of group dare to see if anyone could get away with it.  LOL - I wonder if the cruise line banned them.

I suspect this is mostly disregarded.  On our very first cruise, a few years back, we were given an embarkation time in the afternoon.  A member of our party told us to get on board as quickly as we could in the morning.  So we did that, and was having beef tenderloin for lunch in the Da Vinci MDR at around noon.)  So we've disregarded the boarding times and just boarded in the morning with the first hoardings.  With our current Captain's Circle status, this is pretty much a given.

Thank you.  You may be mixing up a normal suite on Sky Princess and the Sky Suites on Sky Princess.  There are 2 Sky suites where you are met and escorted to your suite, have butler service and a lot of other perks in addition to standard full suite perks.  We are in a aft corner Penthouse suite.  Lots of perks, but I do not think it includes a personal escort.  I guess I will find out in 90 days.  it would be nice if we can get to the room early to drop off bags, but we are not expecting it.  We are usually in balconies, but did splurge for an anniversary cruise 4 years ago on the Crown and had a full suite.  Looking forward the the experience on the Sky princess
