I'm sorry if this has been answered many times before but....

Are either or both of the military or shareholders benefits refundable?

If they are and you have On Board Spends plus the above - how does it work when your account is in credit at end of cruise?

Thanks

Non Refundable credit comes off of your account first.
Shareholder is Non refundable

To confirm Shareholders benefits has to be spent as non-refundable but Military benefits are  refundable?

So - if you have On Board Spends plus Military benefits - how does it work when your account is in credit at end of cruise and, say, there is $200 + left. Does Princess deem that the Military benefits are spent first or last?

Your account(s) begin with a credit balance (OBC). On board expenses are added as incurred and net against the accounts. Non-refundable OBC is used first, then refundable OBC. If at the end of the cruise you have a credit balance any amounts associated with refundable OBC will be refunded to you.

Keep track of your refundable. If you spend all the non-refundable and only have refundable left, you'll get a check for the amount. If you don't want to wait for a check...spend it: casino (you may end up with $$ to cash out 🤣), go shopping, eat in a specialty dining restaurant or ???

BTW: if you have $25 or less refundable at the end of the cruise, go to Pax Svcs and collect it in cash (they won't mail a check for that amount).

Words of wisdom from experience: If you have refundable OBC left over exceeding the $25 amount that you can get refunded on the ship make absolutely sure you print out your account balance on the last day of the cruise as a hard copy record. I've been trying to get my remaining refundable military credit from Princess for 5 months now. After several months they sent a particle refund (less 25% or a little over $50). Supposedly after many contacts and letters to and from Princess I am suppose to have another check coming for those remaining funds. The only reason they finally owned up to their error was the fact I had records of what they first paid me and what was actually owed me. Many people on Cruise Critic seems to have this same problem and it always seems to be less 25%.

Maybe the answer to this problem is just spend all your OBC (refundable and non-refundable) and not be subjected to all this hassle. For me it just became the principle of the thing rather than the $50+ amount.
