They want to make sure that the people who will be personally delivering your luggage directly from the Terminal to your Suite have trolleys, if necessary, to carry all your luggage.

Ok, so for us in iconic- we won’t give our luggage to porters?  Actual celebrity staff will take our luggage and bring them directly to our suite? Then, we will head through security and directly to the boarding lounge to  check in, or directly to ship?

thanks so much!

I imagine there are more choices. For instance, I see no cognacs listed.

We generally ask for Courvoisier, never a problem. Generally if it is within the premium package or near to there is not a problem.

We will be in a PH. Is this the only choices for the two bottles that will be available in your suite? No hard seltzers?

I was in the PH earlier this month on the Constellation.  I was not given a liquor list at all so just asked for what I wanted based on the premium beverage package lists on Celebrity's website.  The rum I got (Zacapa 23) isn't on that list nor were most of the beers I received (most of which were substitutions form the list I gave them, good substitutions fortunately).  They should have no issue stocking hard seltzers if you ask.

to be honest this seems to be more of a guide than a list of availables. On various ships in  RS and above we have had on request .....

Courvoisier VSOP

Zacapa 23

Cointreau

Tanqueray Ten

Cointreau

Campari

Diarano Amereto

😎🍸🍹🍷🍾

along with a bottle or two of PJ  🍾 for our breakfast mimosas

One bottle each of Jameson and Courvoisier and we’ll be good for the week. 🍸

Based my observation on comments in various threads. Some have stated that Luminae can be a crush of people and harried service staff. I deduced it likely to be from staterooms with no other (default) dining option (in this case, SS and CS pax).

Good to hear that it isn't overwhelmed at all times.

Is Luminae then considered itself a premium (food, not the service) experience? I keep reading that the specialties are a step up from assigned dining venues, including Luminae.

I may have to rethink this -

DH & I have found that the food in Luminae  is underwhelming.  Frequently, Oceanview is tastier with more choice.  However we never found a crush of people but we tend to eat later, rather than earlier.

While I am giving Celebrity a try in 2023 with two cruises, I am also trying their sister cruise line RCL for one cruise.

Decided to take my family (with two younger kids) on Harmony of the Seas. I booked the Royal Loft Suite and both Star Loft Suites. The balconies appear nice size, as do the rooms. I believe I am to have access to a "genie" of sorts to help facilitate my schedule. I understand that Coastal Kitchen is the assigned dining for my staterooms.

However, I also understand that my staterooms include unlimited dining venues. I expect to dine in all specialties for dinner. Was at least hoping Coastal Kitchen breakfast would be a viable option for my group.

Sounds like Coastal Kitchen will be as chaotic and overwhelmed as is Luminae on Celebrity, at least in terms of difficult to find seating and rushed servers. That's a shame.

So much for an elevated experience.

Just did the Royal Loft Suite for my Wife & I in May on Harmony. If Bertie is your genie, you should be well taken care of, and hopefully he can be assigned to all 3 of your rooms. Even though we had the Royal Loft, he still had 2 other rooms he was responsible for. I will say it was extremely convenient as he used WhatsApp for communication, which meant anything we needed/wanted was just a message away and almost never a wait for him to reply.

A few warnings to you.. the rear balcony facing the basketball courts was very often covered in small amounts of ash, even after they washed everything down. Also, if you don't sleep well with sunlight, the large rear-window curtains will need a clip to hold them properly closed. We ultimately just used one of the hangers that had clips for pants, and it worked well. The tub in the master bathroom takes forever to fill, and your cabin attendant/genie will need to drain it for you (similar to the tub in the Apex Penthouse.)

We tried Coastal Kitchen twice, but ultimately stuck with specialty dining or in-room dining for the remainder of our meals given the service and noise/distractions. Just a personal opinion, though!

This is almost identical to the list we had for the Apex PH in December of '21. The exception being the spirits list is a little lighter now in options. There's also a beer list included for the mini-bar.

Awsome....we had that suite in Alaska back in early August.  Is Nicasio still your butler and Elvie your steward?   Both were rock stars on our trip.  Hope yours is even better.

Elvie is our steward, she is great!!  Butler is Vishal, he is good, basically everything we’ve asked for has been done for us.

We did our first upper suite out of Port Everglades in February.  We drive ourselves to the port.  We missed the suites check in area as there was a police car parked there which blocked the view of the sign. IIRC the suites area was adjacent to the round about as a landmark if you are self driving.

Waiting on our shore side concierge to give us the info for Sunday as we depart from terminal 29 on Reflection. Apparently we need to take a shuttle from the closest garage.

I'd contact the Shoreside Retreat Concierge for clarification. This isn't a great photo but it's what they sent me to indicate the Retreat luggage drop-off. There were porters there. It's  past the regular drop-off area. Near the first turn-around circle.

"For your convenience, please note the picture provided of the pillar that will be outside the terminal where the Suite Luggage sign will be."

Good thinking!

We actually used to have clips (for curtains) on our packing list.

Great info. Had a concern about soot.

Other concern is the view over basketball court. I'll stick to the side view near the hot tub.

Good thing all dining options outside CK are included.

Would be ideal for genie to handle all three of my rooms. I think RCL would figure that out, but I'll prompt them otherwise.

Many thanks.

See the thread I started earlier today about Port Everglades. Could be useful reading!

Sorry for your troubles. Thanks for the warning.  Hopefully it won't be raining and the garage won't be full.  We will shoot to leave Flagler Beach at 7 and be at terminal 29 at 11. We've readjusted our expectations. Not a terminal 25 experience.

Nope. I've done both. This was the view from the port side Penthouse master bath while docked at T29. Not much of to see but better than our view of the tank farm when we did the same room from T4. I booked the Ascent, in part, because I'm sure it will be sailing from T25.

I'm starting to get concerned that I haven't heard from the shoreside concierge and my cruise departs next Friday.  It's been nearly 3 weeks since my EV bid was accepted and I've been studying up on the benefits since then, but I would have expected to hear from them by now.  Is it possible to contact them without being contacted first?

As guests in one of our top suites, I am delighted to let you know that you will receive unlimited complimentary Specialty Dining. Arranging for your dining plans before sailing will give you more time to relax and enjoy the Celebrity Beyond. Please find the attached sample menus for our Specialty Restaurants aboard the Celebrity Beyond to give you an idea of what each of them offer, and please note menu items may differ. There are a couple of items that I would like to point out regarding the Specialty Dining venues. Le Petit Chef only has two dining times available each night. There is an early seating at 6:00pm and a late seating at 8:30pm. As always, you are more than welcome to dine in Luminae, which is our exclusive restaurant for our Suite guests. This venue is open seating therefore, reservations are not required.

As an extra perk to sailing on the Celebrity Beyond, we also have our newest specialty dining venue, Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, available at an additional cost. I attached a menu for this venue for you to look over.

Additionally, we are pleased to offer a complimentary minibar that is stocked daily, as well as two complimentary bottles of liquor to enjoy during your time with us. As I would love the opportunity to have these top suite amenities available for you upon your arrival, kindly choose from the options attached. Please note, in case the liquor is not your preferred option we can substitute with a bottle of wine, we carry a variety of Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc. Also, due to supply chain issues, you might not see some favorites we have been able to provide in the past. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  I kindly ask that you select from the available list, but also provide any choice not listed and I will include this in my record to the ship with the request to provide, in the event it becomes available.

Upon arrival to the pier, please make your way to the terminal entrance. Once there you will see a banner that says, “Priority Curbside Drop-Off”. After you have dropped your luggage off you will be escorted to the security screening and check-in. From there you will be able to board the beautiful Celebrity Beyond!

Attached you will find a Dash id for the curbside drop off. Please fill it out with your information and place it on the dash of the vehicle you will be arriving at the pier.

Quick note - If it's the Beyond, Rachel is NOT Shoreside Concierge anymore (as of 11/1), and it's Terrikka. Rachel is now handling the Infinity.

The rear patio is completely visible in all areas by the Basketball courts, Flow Rider, and a few other areas on the upper rear deck of the ship. If you host a dinner there, be aware you'll be fully visible 🙂

The balcony area on the side with the hot tub does have a sliding door that splits the two balconies. You can manually close it yourself, though when we sailed it was stubborn sometimes. With the balcony door closed, it felt much more private.

You've likely seen videos/photos already, but maybe these will help give you an idea of the level of privacy.image.thumb.png.ce37856fae803fbc5df5b22724ce4e67.png
