October Halloween activities

I have read that Carnival celebrates Halloween the whole month of October.  On a 5 night cruise, which night is costume night?

October 31st

Probably depends on the itinerary. I would guess not the first or last night.

Our Cruise is not during Halloween.  It is October 17.  My understanding is that it is celebrated the whole month.

Yes, people dress up the entire month and it's one of the most enjoyable times to cruise.

It is not. Other than decorations. It is celebrated and the costume day is the 31st only. We do Carnival every year for Halloween.

I was on an October cruise last year not over Halloween and there was a costume and trick or treating night. Have one booked this October too and we have already received an email talking about Halloween events which states that all October cruises will have costume contests. 
 

OP, the email didn’t say which day. I’d go with not first or last and not elegant night. That narrows it down to 2 on a 5 night.

We booked our first cruise on Carnival for this October not even realizing that they do this. It's an excellent bonus!

Carnival does celebrate Halloween the entire month of October.

They had really cute desserts in the dining room with a Halloween theme.  We also cruised during October, not Halloween week and they had costume night.

One thing I just remembered—last year in Oct they also had four seasonal cocktails at he lobby and casino bars. I tried three and all were good. Hoping they have them this year!

I stand corected. It does look like they have a party on every October cruise. We only go on October 31st. That is the only day they party and have the costume winner.

I am going on a Halloween cruise (Oct 29). What are some of the more popular adult costumes. Do people go all out or a simple mask?
