Sommelier Wine Packages - Dining Room only ?

Hi, 

With the Sommelier Wine Packages, are the bottles only for consumption in the Dining Room , or can the bottles be delivered to the Cabin ?

 

First timers, so lot's of questions !

They definitely can be delivered to your cabin, some or all. We always do that. And it isn’t only the MDR but any other restaurant too. They will find your wine. 😉

The current wording is "Your wines will be available to enjoy with your meals or delivered directly to your stateroom. Any unopened bottles can be taken home at the end of your cruise." and "Please note that packages are nontransferable and may not me consumed in public bars and lounges." as well as "An 18% service charge is applied to all beverage purchases. Local sales taxes are applied as required in territorial waters."

 

ETA: the 18% is charged on the price of the package, when you order it.

Just purchased (online) a wine package for our December cruise. As a 3-Star I believe we should receive a 25% discount.  Just trying to determine if the price listed reflected the discount, or am I going to have to seek it out once on-board.

When I buy the Sommelier package onboard, I see the full charge on my account and then later (seems like it is a day later?) see the Mariner 3 star credit on my account.

The price charged and paid pre cruise is the full price including the service charge.  Onboard your account should reflect the 25% discount on the price without the service charge.  Check your account (stateroom TV) and if after a couple of days, the discount does not show, then form a line at Guest Services.
