Emergency today on Quantum class ship?

Actually a good technique to have a captive audience to listen to various sales pitches for "deals" occuring that day and throughout the cruise.  Quite clever.

Not exactly accurate.  Certain employee teams were posted at various muster stations but hardly “all”

When we were on the Quantum in June, they did not have any video poker (not a game that the Chinese favored). The casino host said that they were planning on adding some this summer. Maybe they haven't got the new machines yet.

We sailed Quantum on August 8 and there was no video poker.  I was not happy about that, but spent a lot less time and $$ in the casino.

Verified, there are no video poker machines in the casino on Quantum.

 

There was an announcement while I was in yhe casino last night about there being over $100,000 in payouts for jackpots in the casino this cruise.

They were going to cancel the show and redo it the next night but everyone went back to the theater to they resumed the show. I didn't see anyone panicking at all, it was all very calm. 

 

Now on a flight home from San Juan it was another story entirely. Out flight had a 300 foot drop with a 30 degree tilt, even the flight crew looked unnerved.

 

 

Sounds very similar to an experience of one of the fires we had the misfortune of.

Elton John tribute act. Smoke was rising through the stage. we thought it was a smoke machine until a Bravo call came out, 'Elton' carried on for a while then came another Bravo call to which he replied I think we all better leave the theatre!!! 

That was in the incinerator room too.

I just spent a week Aug 23-29 and absolutely not a single video poker machine in the casino on Quantum of the Seas. This was my 2nd Quantum ship, first being Odyssey the new one which is beautiful and had fantastic food and entertainment and the crappiest casino I had been in since Mariner... Until this last one Quantum of the Seas has to be the worse casino in Royal's fleet.
