SAmome Posted September 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2022 Also, if need any assistance at front desk, I can't remember, is there any sort of priority line for D+ or The Key peeps? Thanks.
davekathy Posted September 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2022 The OBC (RC or TA) has always been under my name but I never see it. I've never seen a line dedicated to any tier level or cabin category at GS.
truffles2 Posted September 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2022 I have seen a dedicated line at GS…but not lately.
LinRon3 Posted September 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2022 This is a good question. My wife and I have different last names and both of us apply for shareholder benefit OBC [only one of us get it of course, per stateroom etc], plus sometimes there is other OBC from TA or RCI promotion etc. The OBC is always charged per stateroom [whatever credit card or cash account the stateroom is assigned to]. But on invoice, our charges always show separate [but again, tally only to the one credit card for us]. It gets confusing when, say an excursion is canceled, and you get OBC that's refundable mixed in with OBC that is non-refundable [the shareholder benefit is not refundable]. So far, RCI always charges against the non-refundable OBC FIRST...so we usually do get any refundable back if we don't use it. RCI has gained our respect over time; always seems to do the right thing for people. All this begs a question though; can there be more than one account for any given stateroom [ie two credit cards or more, one for each person in the cabin?]. ejnsb Posted September 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2022 This doesn't really answer your situation but we're sailing next week and I called to buy some obc for us to draw on inthe casino. The agent asked how I wanted it applied ( how much for each of us). Doesn't make a lot of sense since we're on one account but that is how they do it. I guess the first one to lose their money gets to sit and watch the other play.
Rare rudeney Posted September 6, 2022 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2022 Can the D-Lounge concierge, like the SL concierge, do most everything GS can do? If so, that would be your "express line" for GS.

Yes you can have more than one credit card for your cabin, one for each person that’s what we do when I travel with my sister or a friend.

mickeygirl78 Posted September 7, 2022 #10 Share Posted September 7, 2022 I cruised last fall with a friend and we had separate credit cards. We had called and received an OBC when the price went down. It was all showing under me, the first name. We stopped at guest services and they split it between us.
