Princess cruise casino on board account???

My question is how to play slot machine & black jack on Princess cruise and how they charge on my Medallion?
My medallion on board account has on board credit (over $100 OBC) and credit card on file. If I play $50 in casinos will they deduct from my on board credit or will they charge $50 on my credit card?
If I want to cash out? Will they give me back cash to my medallion or will they give back on board credit to my account?

Thanks

I don't play black jack, but slots.  When you first go to the casino you tap your medallion to the slot machine.  A menu comes up and you have to create your account.  You are asked your birthdate and you choose a four digit numer code.  You will use the code everytime you want to play on a machine.

You now put money in your casino bank that money amount is charged to your cabin.  So let's say you want $500.  You now have casino money and you can choose to play part or all on the machine.  Once you are tired of playing that machine and want to move on you hit the cash out button and it puts the money back to your "bank" - you now go to another machine and pick from your bank how much you want to play.

All monies are charged to your cabin when you choose to get more money.  If you have OBC on your cabin, it will be reduced down.  Your $500 minus the $100 obc - you now have $400 on your cabin.

At the end of the cruise if you have money left on your casino bank you go to the cashier and get any monies out.  If you want you can take that cash and go to guest services and apply it to your cabin account.

This system sounds like it’s identical to Carnival which means if you want to play BJ (after playing slots) you can go to the table and tell them you want to take money from your casino bank. (Money from your casino bank that you had funded as outlined in the post above).

On Carnival that’s the method to avoid the 3% fee for taking money directly from your account at the tables. Not sure if there is a similar fee for Princess.

Princess tables don’t charge either way (when you get it from your bank or the room; only carnival is that cheap lol)

Celebrity tried to charge me the one time I sailed with them. When I told them Princess never charged us, they ended up waving the fee.

I am a Canadian cruiser and would like to know how to put money onto my Casino account.  On past cruises I could just put a few thousand dollars in Canadian onto my shipboard account and then just charge money to my account when I was playing in the casino.  As you maybe aware the rate on Princess is 1.25 versus the current bank rate of 1.39 (or there abouts).  According to their website you can only put $1500 max onto your shipboard account.  Can someone please advise how to get around this limit?  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Adding cash once you're onboard at the front desk and then charging against it to your room is the only way I know of.  Or just charging it to your room and then paying off your credit card gets you miles or cash back depending on what card you have.  I've even made payments to my CC while on board.
