I had this in the steakhouse and loved it! Where else could I order it?

That's a good question.  I've only had it at the steakhouse.  Other bars that make martinis could probably make it too, as long as they have the watermelon syrup.  The pomtini is also delicious.  I had one on the last day of my last cruise and wish I had discovered it sooner.

That's one of the great things about having Cheers.  You can try pretty much anything without worrying about paying for something you might not like.  If you don't like it, just ask for something else, no problem!

That’s what we were thinking. We are going on a 5 day on the Freedom in April and an 8 day in July on the Celebration. We did not have Cheers this past summer on the MG. We did have (and still do have) drinks on us in the casino. We were less than impressed with that and waited forever for drinks even with tipping on every drink. They were severely under staffed in the casino.

I really like how Carnival bartenders make a Miami Vice, with the strawberry daiquiri red on one side and the pina colada white on the other.

BUT, now that I am officially diabetic, I've switched to frozen mudslides -- in moderation! -- because they have half the sugar calories of a Miami Vice.

When I asked John Heald about Carnival obtaining sugar-free or reduced-sugar daiquiri mixes, he said he was a  fellow diabetic and said he'd take action about my sailing...but did not.

One that is absolutely delicious but I don’t recommend for lightweights like me is the Cruiser.  Three kinds of alcohol, three kinds of fruit juice.  I naively thought there would be 1/3 shot of each, but realized that was not the case when I woke up the next morning still wearing my formal gown, with makeup smeared all over the pillow case and parts of the poor towel animals scattered everywhere.  Gary said it looked like a crime scene.

Luckily towel animal on towel animal crime is legal in international waters.

The Cucumber Sunrise st Alchemy is my favorite drink at Sea on all lines I've been on.

Same - these are so refreshing. I have one or two nightly after dinner at Alchemy.

If your ship has an Alchemy bar, recommend stopping there for your first Old-Fashioned. They have a Rum Old Fashioned on the menu, but will happily make you a classic bourbon one with Woodford. And they make them very, very well at Alchemy!

Ask for it "smoked" - on our last cruise, my evening cocktail became a smoked coffee bourbon Manhattan at the Alchemy Bar

If I am not at the Alchemy bar, I love an Ultimate XO.

At Alchemy, I usually start out with the lavender thing they make. Later, I'll ask the bartender, "do you have time to create a new drink for me?" I will answer a few questions from them (what alcohol? bourbon or vodka or rum, based on my mood. Sweet? No. Spicy? Yes, but not over the top) and then I sit back and see what they come up with. I am rarely disappointed.

The Alchemy bartenders know me quite well by the second day of the cruise, it's my favorite place to hang out.

I have the Cheers package and on my last cruise (Bermuda) my wife and I loved trying all kinds of new drinks . I'm normally a beer guy and not much for straight liquor but when cruising it feels more like vacation to stick to mixed drinks. We also have fun making sure we drink enough throughout the day to make the Cheers package worth it. Can't wait to sit at the Havana bar and try different ones out.

So far my favorite was a Rum based drink that i cant remember the name of but I think was similar to the Zombie Cocktail. Suggestions for what else I should try?

Any FREE one. However I like LI Ice tea Wife likes Cruiser.

I usually drink beer to Malibu and pineapple. On my last Carnival Cruise I had an Anita (local beer from Louisiana) that was really good.  For FuFu drinks I like the Funship.

I'm guessing this is probably supposed to be Abita . They have several good beers and also a good root beer.

I had Frog Island Iced Tea from the Red Frog bar by the main pool a few times (maybe more than a few ☺️). I was sad to see that it was not on the menu for the Red Frog Tiki Bar on Mardi Gras... hoping they will be able to make it when we sail in Jan 2023.
