Fastest way to airport from ship

I booked a 10:30 am flight from FLL.  Any tips for disembarking Allure of the Seas and getting to the airport? Taxi/Uber?

Sailing into Port Everglades then taxi's will be lined up and waiting. I would do this over having to look for my Uber. Do self assist and leave the ship as quick as you can and you should be fine.

You will need to carry your bags off by yourself and take a taxi or Uber. If you have no bags to check at the airport, you will be better off.Having TSAPre or Clear will be beneficial.

 

You might want to check on the number of ships in port. More ships can increase crowds. 
 

you will also be better off if your airline is in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.

While you should be able to make a 10:30 am flight, even on a weekend, you do need to get off the ship as early as possible and taxi (about $15 plus tip) to the airport.  I have done this and experienced short lines at the airport, but once the cruise ship buses arrive things quickly change and lines (checkin and security) get crazy long.

Thanks for the info. Not checking bags and we’ll definitely get off early and use a taxi.

It is only a 10 min ride to the airport. Very close to the port.

Allure, or it's sister mega ships are almost always the first ships into port, usually ready to disembark well before 7am. Getting off asap and grabbing a cab will solve the problem pretty easily.
