Vista had a broken pipe causing flooding recently?

This was mentioned on a late-night talk show (some obvious joke like "using the life boats inside the ship!"), and I hadn't seen anything about it, so I searched here, and still didn't find anything.

This was one link I found on-line, seems to have happened a few weeks ago.

Sorry of this is old news, I honestly couldn't find it.

(And did the search function change?  I can no longer search by thread title, as far as I can tell.)

This super old news.

Seen it mentioned in here and by all the cruise vloggers on you tube when it happened.

Be some soggy cabins on that deck for awhile for sure. (especially the one the pipe broke in that flooded that whole deck.)

Just looked like downtown Charleston after every medium to heavy rainstorm.

Bit surprised that this amount of water would come from a cabin branch pipe.  Last time I saw this much water in the passageway (and I thought I saw it coming from a cabin in waves in the video), was when someone decided that the sprinkler head would be a good place to hang a hanger, and broke the bulb.  This sends vast amounts of water into that cabin, and is even more difficult to shut off than a potable water pipe, for obvious reasons as it is a firefighting system.

I hate "journalism" that is just a re-telling of a facebook comment feed.

Indeed, it does smell of gonzo journalism.

Can you provide a link to the discussion here?  I couldn't find any. Then we can let this thread die off.

Well, a Google search returned these results :

I don't know if this hurts or helps(to explain what happened). It appears that this did happen. To what extent the damage is, I dunno. Just passing on what I found.
