The guy came back on the announcements and said he made an error.  They asked everyone to go sit down and then they started calling the number groups.

@graphicguy I have to agree about this being one of the best cruises I have ever been on. At least solo. I feel like the passengers really made it special with so many solos traveling. It was nice finally getting to cruise with my brother. It was nice having a lower number of passengers onboard. I definitely met some great people that made for some special memories. I would put this right up there with my first solo cruise, the Celebrity Equinox on her first sailing after the restart.

You 2 are some of the inspiration for me to sail solo for the first time this summer.

When @graphicguymentioned the deal on this, I JUMPED, thinking I had a break in my schedule...well, not to be, a concert with friends had already been scheduled.

(it was a blast...concerts r better with friends)

Just wait for next Fall's last minute specials ... several NCL ships will be running donuts up there.  Just hail an Uber, the fare for us from the pier up to the Citadel was $9.50 CDN on the App - quick & easy as we weren't going to walk up that hill & gave the driver a nice, big cash tip.  Much, much less than the most frugal ship tour available.  Took a taxi afterward back to the ship (seen enough of downtown over the years) after walking down to the bottom of the hill from one of the nearby hotel's ... fare & tip, $20 CDN.  Of course, you can explore the casino there by the waterfront too ...

I am genuinely thinking of just booking this same cruise (on the Escape) for next year. I just had such a wonderful time and I am hopefully another late-season CA/NE cruise will have similarly low fares and similarly high solo turn-out. Please keep me posted if either of you decided to go! @graphicguy you already have my email and @ESCARGO I emailed Ted to share my email address with you so let's all keep in touch! I know Kyle/Bendyman was also talking about booking this same cruise for next year.

Just 3 days off our last cruise, and we’re already making plans for another.  I think we need help.  LOL!

Those solo rates aren't dynamite yet...worth keeping an eye on.

I'm also looking at "end of season" Alaska sailings for around this time next year.  Those should be fairly attractive, too.

 

As always, Hurricane Season Caribbean sailings would have some attractive fares.

 

In short, I'm eyeballing any cheap sailings.

Keep me posted on what you find. Being on the east coast, it's a lot more expensive for me to travel to the west coast for a cruise, even if the cruise itself is cheap.  There were some good Mexican Riviera deals recently, but the travel costs were a real deterrent.
