You will be notified if your bid is accepted or declined but it may no be until 2 days before sailing.  You can go back and check the Move Up bid email to see if the status has changed.  If it changes to pending that can be a positive sign.

The first indication of your bid is accepted is your CC is charged.  I have alerts setup for any charge over $10.    My watch buzzes and I say Yahoo...

 

At 48 hours prior to boarding they send out e-mails that bids were not accepted.

 

Prior to this you can go to the bid confirmation on your original confirmation and it will show you the current status - you can also cancel or update your bid.   If It should suddenly shift to Pending and you can't cancel or modify it is a good sign you are about to be awarded an upgrade.
