Volendam questions

Greetings all. We enjoyed our Zuiderdam 7 night cruise Van to Van in Alaska last week, that we booked the Volendam 21 day next April fr Ft. Lauderdale to Van, Panama.

This time we are an ocean view on deck 1. 

I am having a hard time finding these answers.

1. Can you book a early or late seating for the total cruise?

2. Can you request a window?

3. In the Pinnacle Grill, when you make your reservation, is there a way to request a window table? 

That's it for now but I'm sure I will have more questions!

Deck One:  you are in my "home territory" for the Volendam.  A few outside  staterooms aft on the port side of the forward elevators/stairway is where I reside during my cruises.

 

Request seating?  Yes.  Request a window table?  No.  You can request table size, but, no guarantee that will be fulfilled.  A window table request in the PG, as well as in the dining room, is best addressed when you are on board and meet with the Maitre d' for the PG and the MDR.

Yes, you can book early or late, fixed seating for the cruise. Everyone wants a window seat...there aren't a lot. Same with Pinnacle, when you arrive, not in advance...although I am not sure Pinnacle actually has windows.

If you have any confirming emails from HAL, in the blue banner at the top you should have been assigned a PCC, with their extension. I recommend you contact them and let them get you the dining time you want. Also whether you want to allow upgrades (automatic or offers) to your cabin.

 

RKA and Bruce answered the question about the window request.

 

There are no windows in the PG.

Correct.  The Volendam does have windows, but, they do not give one a view of the sea.  A lovely view of the corridor outside the restaurant is what is viewed.
