The MDR is not normally open on port days, especially embarkation day. Lunch is served in the World Cafe (Buffet).

All our cruises, MDR was closed on arrival Day.  World cafe was open and for longer hours as well.  We always went there and had wonderful meals!

The pool side grill may also be open during  lunch.  You may also order from the room service menu. On our last cruise it was after 3 pm before we were able to board.  The Buffet was closed but the grill was open. We ordered 1 sandwich and a large salad and 1 soup to split. Room service arrived within 15 minutes

Is Mamsen open on arrival day?  I do not remember . I always ate in World Cafe  and sat outside for lunch.
