Rare seagunthera Posted October 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2022 I'm booked on a 12/28 cruise and am wondering if Princess leaves the Christmas decorations up until after we celebrate the New Year? Input from those who have traveled during this time is greatly appreciated!
capriccio Posted October 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2022 Yes they will still be up. They are put up on the first cruise after thanksgiving and will be down on the first cruise after New Years day (at least in our experience).
Rare Coral Posted October 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2022 I have been on several cruises over Christmas and New Years and most of the decor has been removed by January 1st on my cruises.

I hope so also. They are pretty! I think they will. I did a B2B which included Christmas and then NYs. I remember how on the second cruise, things started disappearing after the first cruise and then on New Years day, everything was gone in reference to Christmas. rocklinmom Posted October 14, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 14, 2022 We are considering the Christmas/NYE cruise this December and wondering how they do the holidays from someone who has done it? Is it festive? I know I love the idea of not having to cook and bake and shop.

My favorite display on any Christmas cruise is the crew decorated gingerbread houses. 3
rocklinmom Posted October 14, 2022 #8 Share Posted October 14, 2022 That sounds amazing! Do they have traditional Christmas dinner menus too?
wild4cruises Posted October 25, 2022 #9 Share Posted October 25, 2022 We are booked on the Discovery Princess on 12/28 and although we have sailed on Princess numerous times, it will be our first cruise over a major holiday. Looking forward to it. Cheers!
MissP22 Posted October 28, 2022 #10 Share Posted October 28, 2022 The crew must be waiting on New Years eve to remove everything during the cleanup. 😄
