Do they still remove YC luggage tags and put on new ones at tent?

Do they still remove the Yacht Club luggage tags that you put on at home and then attach new luggage tags at the tent?

Last week (Seaside) they left the tags we had attached but did add another of their own tags

At Port Canaveral this past Sunday the porter left our plastic sleeved MSC tags on and just added the gold YC tag without adding room numbers to the new tag. Easy-peezy.

We also boarded then. I expected they would do their own luggage tags for YC, as they did in MIA when we sailed last.
(Then,they removed what we attached and redid Tags.)

This time, Porter asked where our luggage tags were. Had them printed out but(, we don’t travel with stapler), not attached . He attached our printed ones and we did not get anything new added from YC check in.

So, MSC remains unpredictable.

On our April Seashore cruise out of Miami, I did not put any tags on beforehand. When we got to the YC ten t, they slapped on those glorious gold luggage tags that started our great week ahead!

We did not have any tags on our luggage when we boarded Divina on 9 October. Porters put on YC tags at the pier with a big welcoming smile. 🙂
