Katems75 Posted October 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Hello, mostly new to this, having cruised only one other time in 2018 on Oasis. Next year I'll be on Harmony. Last time we ate in the MDR for every dinner, but the Windjammer for every breakfast and lunch. I keep seeing posts here from people posting their MDR lunches and I believe I see breakfasts that take place other than the Windjammer, too. So, where can you eat all three meals, for free? As in what is included in just the cruise price, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you CAN do MDR for breakfast and lunch, do you just walk in?? Do you need an assigned time like you do with dinner? Thanks!

Hours will be on the app and in the compass Edited October 15, 2022 by Ourusualbeach

home-mom Posted October 15, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2022 We prefer to eat our meals there vs windjammer, but beware it’s not fast service that’s for sure.
cruise1957 Posted October 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2022 There are lots of free dining options on Harmony, Solarium Bistro is great for breakfast. Sorrento's and Park Cafe. I'm sure there are others. Enjoy your cruise.
Rare OCSC Mike Posted October 15, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Big fan of Park Cafe for breakfast (egg sandwiches and bagel bar) and lunch (paninis, kummelweck, and my wife says they have salad but that sounds kinda healthy).
shipgeeks Posted October 15, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 15, 2022 After a million years of cruises, we had breakfast in MDR for the first time. The French toast was absolutely delicious, 100% superior to that available in WJ. Most likely you will be asked, at the door, if you are willing to share a table. If so, you can get in fairly quickly. If not, the wait might be a bit longer.
Cutigerlady Posted October 15, 2022 #8 Share Posted October 15, 2022 On the Harmony, you can have breakfast for free at Johnny Rockets too. We like the egg scramblers here and everything is made to order. We also like the Solarium Bistro for a more laid back buffet than WJ. The Park Cafe is another great choice for bagels, breakfast sandwiches/burritos, cereal, fruit at breakfast and lots of sandwiches, soup and salads they make for you at lunch. I get overwhelmed in WJ, so I always look for alternatives. If you are looking for something after dinner, then the choices get a lot harder. You have promenade cafe for sandwiches/cookies/desserts or pizza.
fpcruiser Posted October 15, 2022 #9 Share Posted October 15, 2022 The lunch offerings are very limited.
Rare Tree_skier Posted October 15, 2022 #10 Share Posted October 15, 2022 I learned to love breakfast in the Solarium.
Merion_Mom Posted October 15, 2022 #11 Share Posted October 15, 2022 @Katems75 There is great information in these responses to your question. You can also see all of the options in the app. The app will tell you hours of operation for each venue, menus for the meals, and whether there is an extra charge. PolicromaSol Posted October 15, 2022 #12 Share Posted October 15, 2022 MDR, buffets, and some snack bars are free. Plain brew coffee and tea is free. Essence water is free, milk is free. Sodas, cocktails, mocktails, fancy coffee, fresh squeeze juice, and fancier dining are extra.
