Butcher’s Cut dress code

We are on the November 6 sailing of the Meraviglia. We have reservations at the Butcher’s Cut that evening. What is the dress code for that dining room? We want to board dressed for dinner in case our luggage is late to the cabin. This is our first MSC cruise.

Casual is fine in Butcher's Cut, that is neat, no beachwear, shorts etc but I believe extra latitude is allowed on first evening in case luggage does not arrive.

I wore a casual dress with sandals and DH wore resort pants (drawstring linen) and a tropical button up shirt.

The dress code is the same throughout the ship, it does not matter if you dine in a specialty restaurant or even Yacht Club.....smart casual is the deal.

Just got off the Meraviglia. Although we didn’t dine there this time, we did notice people checking in that were casually dressed. I’ve worn shorts and a polo shirt with no problem.
