Sandyrella Posted November 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2022 We just got off of the Beyond and really enjoyed Le Petite Chef. We had already booked this restaurant for our next cruise but we aren't really interested if it's the same meal and show? Does anyone have any idea if they switch it up at all? BettyCruiser Posted November 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2022 As I understand it there are three different shows. I’m not sure if all ships have all three but they will tell you which shows are which night if you ask when you board and could likely move your reservation if you are currently booked to see the show you already you’ve already seen. 1
Rare Jim_Iain Posted November 1, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2022 They have 3 different shows and it varies by ship, duration and discretion as to how many will be done on a particular cruise. You can check out the Menu in the App on each night to see what's planned. They also post the menu outside the restaurant.
Northern Aurora Posted November 1, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 1, 2022 There are definitely different versions. And, at least some of the ships, post the different menus on a sign outside of the entrance so you can confirm which version is offered on a particular night. George C Posted November 2, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2022 I could see the same show, we just love this animation. Did it a few times and have it booked on beyond next month , this will be first time we have to pay for it since we had upper end suites on other cruises.

Kiran Posted December 10, 2022 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2022 Le Petit Chef & Friends is a cooking competition with a different chef each course Tomato salad, truffle ravioli, steak frites, matcha cake alternate: onion soup, sea bass, chicken breast, sorbet Le Petit Chef & Family has him growing up and marrying pea soup, crab farfalle, filet, fudge brownie alternate: lamb asparagus salad, duck breast, halibut, cherry almond cake This is the dinner where my daughter exclaimed "This isn't Disney, I hope they don't kill the Bunny!" The food is pretty good but the experience is great if you enjoy technology such as 3-D movies. It is very amusing and brought a smile to my Mom's face at 91.

Rare abbydancer2003 Posted December 11, 2022 #12 Share Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) I think with each E class ship announcement, they add a show: Le Petit Chef - Edge LPC and friends - Apex LPC and family - Beyond LPC and something to do with schools subjects - Ascent I've seen the first 3 - I liked Family the best, more storyline and I liked the menu choices. Kiran Posted December 17, 2022 #13 Share Posted December 17, 2022 There are land based LPC , some short run at hotels and their quality uneven, The land based sometimes show vegetarian and child menu options.

phoenix_dream Posted May 30, 2023 #18 Share Posted May 30, 2023 On our last cruise we only had a choice of one show/menu - it really does vary by sailing and by ship.

Same for us on two different ships. I did ask if they were going to bring back the other shows, since I can't see many people wanting to go to the same one multiple times, and I was told they eventually would. We'll see.
