Last night's dinner at Jamie's was very good. I started withbthe arancini.

Ultimate garlic bread. I'd give this a pass.

Half portion of the truffle tagliatelle.

I should have done that last time. I didn't know you could do that. I didn't like it. Last time we were there I just had the plank, garlic bread and mashed potatoes. ☺️

At the Schooner now. I'm doing good at showing up when the set is over.

I grabbed a bloody mary from the casino because I only have one voucher left. I was worried because last trip on Mariner I had trouble getting it made right. Different bartender and she did great but I do need to make sure a charge doesn't show up since asked me my room and printed a receipt (that she didn't present me).

The night club opens at 1030 amd ibam leaning towards that bit tjeblrovlem is I will probably stay till close and I really don't need to stay up that late.

I think you may need to extend your trip into December, on Freedom of course. Seems to me like Freedom is flirting with you, trying to get your attention! She’s saying that she knows you’ve sailed on all of the other girls and some of them you’ve even sailed twice. Freedom wants to know when it’s her turn! 😂 🥹

Jamie's gets very mixed reviews but I've always had success. I think that garlic bread was my least favorite thing I've had there and even that wasn't terrible.

I will keep eating there to make sure my opinion doesn't change 🤪

She will have to wait her turn in January. She knows how I feel about her living in Miami and getting rid of her sauna/steamroom facilities.

It's going to be awkward when she sees me in Miami in December on Carnival Celebration. Maybe she won't notice me.

Good morning from somewhere off the coast of Cuba.

Missed the top tier party again. I don't think i will make it to one unless they hold it at a reasonable hour someday.

I still don't have my bottle of champagne so I guess I have to make another trip to deck 2. I may just go see the diamond concierge. It won't be the first time the loyalty ambassador was completely useless amd diamond concierge handled the issue immediately.

Haven't got the chance to get out and do much today. I did make it to lunch in the MDR.

Roasted atlantic cod.

They informed me they were out of spinach which was fine but tje fish was rubbery and not good today.

Pulled pork sandwich.

So it's partially my fault for not marking sure it was done correctly. I was having trouble making reservations for mtd(which defeats the purpose of mtd) so I stood in line and made reservations.

I said I would like the earliest time for each day from day 3-5 since I would be doing specialty the first two nights.

Looking now I see I had a reservation for day one and nothing else. Seriously how hard is it to get that right?

Going to see if that can be resolved now or if I'll be in standby. Tonight is Indian night in Windjammer which I enjoyed last cruise so I will probably just do that bit don't want to wait in a long line for Thanksgiving tomorrow.

After that I'll try to get my champagne one more time then hit the gym.

Dinner reservations taken care of for the next two nights.

Spoke to the loyalty ambassador again and she looked it up and saw it was being delivered to the dining room. She called again to have it straightened out and told me to call her if it wasn't there within an hour.

When I got back from dinner and exercising, two hours later, it still wasn't there. I was just going to go to the dining room and see if they would give it to me.

I'm fine chasing down my benefits, carnival doesn't deliver my stuff to the room because apparently it's a covid risk but you gotta let me know if I need to go trick or treating for my goodies.

Just as I was about to head out for it I heard a knock knock knock at the door.

I'm not a wine drinker but that looks like something I would drink. I'll crack into later and find out. I'm sure it's not top shelf but I'm sure I will enjoy it as long as it is sweet.

Indian night at the Windjammer was good. It certainly looks like a hot mess but the flavors were very good.

I also got some vanilla ice cream and cherries for some cherry jubilee. I added what I thought was brown sugar to the top and it turned out to be cookie crumbs. Not the flavor I was trying to build but ended up being good.

The only disappointing part was they ran out of salmon and replaced it with barramundi. It was not good at all. Other than that a great dinner.

I showed up 15 minutes early for finish that lyric and still couldn't find a seat. It was notbthia hard to get in on Liberty or indy. I'll try 20 minutes next time see if that is early enough.

Plan b, at the Schooner enjoying the piano man and some drinks.

I'm very spoiled. I'm going to want all my bloody Mary's to have a salt rim now 🤪. Super crowded at the bar now and I still have all 5 vouchers so I got a habenero grapefruit daiquiri at Schooner.

Good but not spicy enough. Then again my new BFF at casino bar has my mouth on fire so maybe it is spicy and I just can't taste it lol.

Let's talk about capacity and high kid counts. I knew what to expect for a Thanksgiving cruise.

I sailed extensively this summer and during Easter. I'm used to crowded and kid heavy cruises.

This is pretty bad. Probably the worse I've seen from kids (not adults, sailed with way worse groups of adults).

First day was slightly annoying but about what I expected for Thanksgiving. Second day was alarming just because they had a beach day to tire them out but were still running all over the ship. I thought uh oh what is the sea day going to be like.

Things got pretty wild today. The elevator games I've never personally witnessed in all my cruises. I've had the buttons pushed on me twice today. One had to be 17 far too old for that.

I witnessed a group of young teens climb over the railing in the front of the ship. Not even just on top of but over completely. Evem took some selfiea of their behavior.

It gets worse.

When I alerted a crew member what was going on, kids climbing over the railing above the deck overlooking the bridge. His response was but it's just over the bridge right? Wow, guess falling onto the bridge is no big deal and no chance of falling the rest of the way down to the helipad.

I'll be honest, I'm  not one to deal with shenanigans. I will physically detain a child until security/parents show up.

A kid running will be in a lot more pain than me if they decide to bump into me. I'm a big dude and will be like running into a brick wall.

Kids running down the hallway is an opportunity to stick a foot out my door. My hall has been quiet so far other than my poor neighbor who keeps getting male genitals drawn on her whiteboard despite pleas that there are children in the room.

Marshal law. If that offends you, control your kids.

That is all.
