Eastern flygirl Posted November 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2022 I have been a casino prime member for several years. When they changed over on March 31, 2022. It listed me as prime, but, after ten cruises, no points have been posted. I have asked casino hosts and the booking agents to have this corrected. Each person said they would email IT, and have it corrected, but no luck. When I called to book my last cruise, the agent said, I have zero casino points. I am getting a little nervous, as I have made a large donation to all the ships casinos, and want credit for next year. Has anyone else had this problem, and any suggestions for a contact. Thank you. As a fellow contributor, I feel your concern. I will share what I did when I had an issue with Princess. I simply called the Office of the President at Carnival Corporation and explained my issue. No, I didn't speak to the president, nor did I think I would. However, the staff that answers are empowered to get results. I was told that I would get a call the next day from someone in Ocean Players Club, which is the subsidiary that runs all the casino operations on Carnival Corp brands. I got a call from an Executive Vice President who sincerely valued my business and resolved my issues. My ear tells me the Casino Royal agents answering calls are offshore, meaning they are limited in what they can do and typically are not proactive. If you didn't document your point earnings per cruise, I'd ask for that information first. The higher that point count, the more attentive and responsive they'll be... at least if it's someone here domestically. I believe the casino staff onboard have limited capabilities to help. Good luck.
AshleyDillo Posted November 7, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2022 Maybe try contacting Crown & Anchor and verifying your C&A number and then contact the casino make sure that's what the casino has reflected and associated with you?

Eastern flygirl Posted November 11, 2022 Author #8 Share Posted November 11, 2022 This morning I checked my Royal Offer Page, and my current points were posted. Not sure who was responsible for the good work, but I am very happy. I realize it appeared I was a bit inpatient, but I have been working on this since April. Thank you for the suggestions, this is why I love CC.

I was in a cruise last month and I was previously a prime member and I am no longer prime. I did not cruise since 2019 due to Covid and they said you lose all your points every year. You have to start over and earn 2500 to become prime again. Does this sound right?

Yes. point reset back to zero on March 31st. You'll then need 2500 points from April 1st to March 31st to obtain prime.

Eastern flygirl Posted November 12, 2022 Author #12 Share Posted November 12, 2022 I have been Prime for several years. My problem was, they never credited my points from April 1. I had been on ten cruises and many hours in the casino. They did correct the problem and I am happy, but it took many inquires and months to get it right. bulldogz Posted November 13, 2022 #13 Share Posted November 13, 2022 So as long as you are gambling within the year, they keep your previous points? They don’t make you start from zero every April? They just roll over?

For what it’s worth, my casino account has been updated correctly after every cruise this year. Hopefully your problem was a small, limited software glitch that only impacted a few people.
