510picker Posted November 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2022 Can anyone that has flown Southwest recently confirm the checked bag weight limit is still 50lbs? I have someone telling me it is now 40lbs. Southwest’s website still says 50lbs, but would like to hear it from someone that traveled recently. Thanks! Rare NMTraveller Posted November 15, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2022 We put a small portable scale in the luggage so that we are right at 49 or 50 lbs.

And without the scale, you are at 48 or 49. 🙂

Or at least they did for me on several occasions. Edited November 19, 2022 by NMTraveller
