I am so sorry if this is asked on repeat!  On a 7 night cruise on the Millennium, which night(s) would be considered the “formal nights” with an upgraded menu in the dining room?  We want to do Sushi and steakhouse one night, but don’t want to reserve on formal nights if the menu in the dining room is good.  Thank you!

Easiest way to determine is go to app for existing sailing and then look at Cruise Planer-  At 5PM look on each evening -  It will list Evening Chick Photo Studios

For the existing Millennium 7 day cruise -

Chic Nights -    Night 2 -  Nigh 6

Although "chic" nights may change, on most itineraries, the "chic" nights are the first full day of cruising, considered day 2, and the next to last day of sailing, which in your case would be day 6.  We have been on 30 plus cruises, and this guideline is followed virtually on every cruise.

I am not 100% convinced that the "Chic Night" menus are that much better than any other night.  You can usually look at the menu in the app well in advance of the cruise however the menus are subject to change.

Usually the first sea day, and a two days before your cruise ends.  Now people seem to dress a little less formally.  Some stay most of the cruise in the Casino, dine in the buffet and don't dress up at all!  Hopefully they shower!  lol

Thank you for the responses! On our previous cruises, the dining room menu was a little more upscale on these nights.  When I said formal I meant chic. We never dress formally per se, just a bit nicer than on a regular night.  We only have one sea day and it’s the last day, so Day 2 and Day 6 it is, I guess!

I've never even heard that this might be a thing.

it is as long as I’ve been cruising…25 years. Whether or not it’s that much better, who knows.
