Haven at Christmas

I was wondering if NCL decorates the Haven I any special ways for Christmas cruises?  Does anyone have pictures?

We will be in the Haven on Sunday and after our cruise I will let you know. It's a Thanksgiving cruise but my guess is that there will be decorations.

The decorations are ship-wide starting after Thanksgiving and are beautiful. We have been in the Haven on the Gem, Escape, Encore all during Thanksgiving / Christmas and can vouch for an amazing Haven "Holiday Spirit". 

 

There are huge gingerbread displays (even a train / Christmas village) in the Haven lounge on each ship as well as near the atrium (even with a minion Chanukah display), and tons of trees, glitter...my kiddo even got to help put up all of the holiday decorations / trees on the Gem as he asked if he could share in the fun. Ended up with a NCL shirt and chocolate ship cookies as his "paycheck" (he was delighted). There is usually a special holiday meal selection as well in the Haven (and all restaurants, even the buffet). 

 

We always bring a little extra gift for the Haven staff as you get to know them well on the cruise, and they really miss being with their families - no matter what faith they are, it's more of the "holiday blues" that they always smile through. It's usually universal phone minute cards so that they can call home or visa gift cards they can use on the ship for WiFi minutes.

How long are the decorations left up? We set sail the week between Christmas and New Years, so wondering if things will still be decorated.

Should be up until late night of the 1st and 2nd of January.

I never even considered this for our late December cruise.  I love Christmas decorations!  Thanks for the reminder.

We are on the Haven presently and the only decorations were a table display for Thanksgiving. It was only up for Thanksgiving Day.

Don't expect too much in the way of decorations. You might have a Christmas tree but not much more. Having cruised at Christmas the ship is not really decorated.
