Crown Princess recent reports?

We are looking at a Hawaii Cruise in January on the Crown Princess. The reviews I’ve read are not good, but they are from earlier in the year when she was having mechanical issues, etc in Alaska. Princess website says she was last refurbed in Oct 2022. Does anyone know what was done, or anyone been on her since then? TIA

Spent 17 days on Crown before dry dock.  Last was 10 day coastal RT Vancouver no issues at all.  Very little vibration and we are back on next week for 30 days recent reports are positive, we are looking forward to being back on board.

Hello currently on Crown , last week of 28 day South Pacific.

 

The ship is in excellent condition for her age , all mechanical issues were addressed in drydock.  Crew has been exceptional.  Some crew due for vacation on return to LA with 65 new crew boarding. 2100 passengers this cruise, approx 3000 expected on Dec 7.

No engine problems. Looks like a lot of carpeting was replaced. No issues to report. Looks good for her age.

 

The crew is definitely the best!!!!

Jon Persson, Sebastian Jamenez, and Mary Simon are scheduled today.

Thank you. That's very interesting that Crooner's has three pianists. Usually it's just one person, or maybe a substitute, if they have a day off.

The Crooners pianist/vocalist right now is David Moore. Not sure how much longer he is here though.

We sailed on the November 2-9 cruise. Jon Persson was also on our July cruise on the Enchanted and we liked him. I think he had told us he had been doing cruise ships for 40 years. David Moore was also funny and had long sessions. He also has been doing Princess for a long time.
