DRINK PACKAGE EARLY EMBARKING QUESTION

platinum member but haven't cruised for a few years, please forgive me.

my understanding is that your room key is now delivered to your room, that being said , if we have the beverage plan how do we get drinks with out our card for the first few hours.

 

after a 12 hr drive...i am going to need a drink to start our vacation.

 

thank you for any replies, and sorry if this has been asked before but i could not find this topic.

With your SetSail pass or cabin number.

yeah, they actually make it pretty easy.  When  you print out your set sail pass (or have it on your phone) look for the "DX" which means deluxe drink package. They'll know you have it, so you can use it.

I used my Set Sail pass from my phone until I got our door key.  We boarded at 10:30 AM and didn't get a key until around 3:00 PM.  I was already even on the DX package for that day before I even got my card.

 They should also be able to tell based on your cabin number. 

 But it is definitely best if you have a copy of the Set Sail pass available.
