We had offer from another casino. Free Cruise. When we phoned NCL. They wanted taxes and port fees. Yes that is standard. ALSO wanted $20 per person per day as admin fee. Carnival and Royal don't do that. I have not called back to see if I get a different reply.

you won't get a different reply.  I've done plenty of NCL comp cruises and the $20 per day is definitely the standard.  I just received an comp offer from Carnival.  Carnival is near my home and I heard they didn't charge the admin fee, so I called in.  As soon as I heard they don't offer free drinks in the casino,I said no thank you.  NCL will charge $20 per day, but they do give you free drinks while in the casino.  Of course, you can also take the ship-wide drink package for another $20 per day

Thanks for update. Sometimes we get free drinks from Carnival. We get free casino drinks with Royal because of play level. Most of our cruises have been with NCL, but not recently. Maybe it was that admin fee that stopped us.
