johnnydeo Posted December 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2022 Comments about booking another cruise while cruising. Do you really save money? Or book with a cruise company that offers more perks than cruise line offers? Thanks in advance
wrk2cruise Posted December 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2022 Ton's of threads on this. Celebrity will give you extra OBC for booking onboard according to the chart below. If the current cruise you are on was booked via a TA they will automatically transfer the new booking to that TA unless you specify otherwise. Usually what I do is have the reservation remain with Celebrity. Then when I get home I send the details to my TA to see what else he can do. You have 30 days from the original booking date to move the reservation to a TA. Even if the reservation is moved or re-priced the Onboard Booking OBC remains (but it may be recalculated for the new category/sailing length). Rare cruisestitch Posted December 21, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 21, 2022 It isn’t a question of saving money, it is a question of getting extra onboard credit. If you think you can save money with a travel agent, then make the booking on board and transfer it to the Travel agent.

rodndonna Posted December 21, 2022 #6 Share Posted December 21, 2022 What's generally might the "PLUS ONE ADDITIONAL OFFER!" listed at the bottom of the table be?

The 'Offer" that it was offered! I asked that onboard too!
NHCRUISIN Posted December 21, 2022 #9 Share Posted December 21, 2022 The reduced deposit is a big perk, if you want to get the lowest rate you go with the non refundable, $200 is easier to walk away from than $1000 for a couple.
