At the previous Azamara web page there was a category listed for solo discounts. I have looked at the new page for this category and it does not exist. Is this part of the issues that Azamara is having with the new web page or Azamara has dropped this category on purpose?

It's still there, at least on the UK website. You have to click on the Deals page and it's one of the boxes. You can't automatically select it from the top level menu or within the search any more.

I do not find solo discounts for Azamara. Under deals there are no solo deals. Can someone currently on board, please kindly see if there is a list of cruises with solo discount?

there are some good solo deals - some with 0% supplement and many at 25% (I use a third party site for search the solo offers)

I have found them now on the Azamara web page under „0ther deals“. But only until April 2024.

that shows up to end April when in fact there are solo deals up to end June 2024 currently.

I have read on another thread about a webinar in which someone from Marketing apparently mentioned offers for solo travels emphasizing that he himself and his mother travel often solo. I have got all enthusiastic and have searched for solo deals. Well…what a disappointment! The few cruises which offer a solo discount are listed only until September 2024 and the solo supplements are 150% and 175%. So I guess that Azamara is becoming less solo friendly. The solo supplements of 125% are no where to find. What a pity.

There are a number of cruises (13) with 0% supplement in the next couple of months. Late booking has been the best time for reduced single supplements for some time. 

there are even a limited few where the solo price is less than half the double price - could get 2 solo cabins for less than a double.

Again, if you look at the list I have posted from Azamara webpage you see the solo supplements for the next couple of months and no where to find the supplements you are mentioning.

but if you run through a booking for 2 people and a booking for 1 person and compare you may find it is not 150%

 

eg first on list (UK site, no quarterly discount etc)

double occupancy

05 £5,368.80

V2 £7,306.12

 

solo occupancy

05 £2,667.41

V2 £3,635.57

 

can get 2 solo cabins for less than 1 double occupancy

 

suspect the website list is out of date...may have been 150% before but not now

I use Cruiseplum (not a travel agent) to search 'Solo Supplement Deals' filtered by Azamara  - can sort by supplement and then check the prices on the Azamara website

Hoping for a solo supplement for a nov cruise for a friend that would like to travel with us.

 

we checked rates for 3 in cabin but those cabins so small and the 3rd passenger didnt lower the per diem rate for anyone.

 

will be watching closely
