Provided WiFi vs upgraded WiFi.

We are cruising Infinity next month out of Buenos Aries to South America and Antarctica.  We understand that being on the bottom of the planet our signal will not be ideal but we upgraded our WiFi to the premium level because my husband needs to call his aging father every day.  Does anyone have any experience in this?  Will we have a strong enough signal to make a WiFi phone call on celebrity’s provided signal?

We have no problems using Wi-Fi calling with premium Wi-Fi onboard.  Make sure you cell phone is set to Wi-Fi calling and you should have no problems. You might also let your father-in-law know your husband could miss a day calling him, just in case.

I have been able to make calls using the Premium Wifi using Phone over interntet.   I've also made facetime calls, Google Phone Calls as well as other platforms.

At times you may loose internet from 1 -12 hours but was usually able to make calls when connected.   Remember that there will also usually be free internet in each port
