Today we were docked in San Juan Puerto Rico. We booked a 3.5 hour Walking Tour Through Old San Juan.  It was excellent!  Here are some photos from the tour.

Hi, I know that Shadow was updated from sister Whisper.  How is the storage now? If you have time, please post a picture of the closest and new layout.  Mysty, do you need anything I can get you before I see you Jan14? Maxine

Thank you @HappyLadyTravels !  We don't need anything and kind of you to offer! 🥰  Besides the closet, which storage areas are you interested in?  The Shadow has been Muse-ified.  Somewhat comparable to the Moon.  The shelves beside the fridge are very narrow.   Pictures will follow tomorrow.

It is Christmas Day.  Beautiful sunrise to greet us.

Sea days can be boring for readers.  I thought I would throw in some miscellaneous photos.

Last night we enjoyed the first of our many planned special request dinners served in our suite.  It was a seafood extravaganza.  It was delicious!

Now some photos of our suite and some of the items we bought to work in the suite.  Firstly, my jewelry hanger .....suspended on one of the super strong magnets we bought.

DSC00307.JPG

Next our motion sensor nightlight to guide us to the washroom at night.  It is near the baseboard in the hall.

DSC00401.JPG

Our map of the world where I will track our voyage.  The small red magnet indicates our current position.

Now to answer the question of storage, here is the walk-in closet.

DSC00402.JPG

I requested additional hanging storage and a hanging bar was installed over the tub in the washroom.  A platform was put over the top of the tub to accommodate shoes etc.

Here are additional storage photos.....

Tomorrow we are at sea.

Fun to see.  Can;t wait to join you onboard.  Love seeing pix of the cabin.  How did you attach the motion sensor nightlight to the wall?

Wishing you a lovely Christmas Day on SS Shadow!

The nightlights are magnetic and stick to the walls.  They do slide down so placement at the baseboard works well.  We have another on a shelf in the washroom.   Wishing you a lovely Christmas Day wherever you are! 😁

Merry Christmas Mysty and Myster!

I will copy some of your ideas in my upcoming Grand Voyage on the Spirit. Got the shoehanger and the jewelry hanger already, also the slim lightweight hangers. Magnets already bought. Now need a map of Africa/Arabia. If ever we make it through the red sea. Thanks again for all your fabulous tips!

@mysty  Thanks for the photos.  Regarding the extra storage over the tub: I'm guessing you requested that in advance, or did you wait until you were onboard?

I requested it in advance through our travel agent.  Silversea confirmed the request through our agent.   Everything was in place when we boarded in Bridgetown.   I'm very happy that I made the request.   It's working a treat! 😁

Today we docked in Fort Lauderdale. This is end of the first leg of the Holiday Cruise and the beginning of the second leg.  Only 50 passengers from the last leg are continuing on and 291 new passengers embarked.

We did the Flamingo Gardens - Botanical Gardens & Wildlife Sanctuary Excursion.  Here are some photos.....

Hi Mysty, beautiful photos.😃 I have been to Ft Lauderdale for years and years (long before I ever even started to cruise) and have never visited these Gardens. Something I may have to do next time I am down there.

Fairchild Gardens in Miami are also worth seeing, especially at Christmas when they have a beautiful light display.
