Has NCL fulfilled the promise of 6 Litres of water for NCL passengers with the Free At Sea package?

Have you tried the "Click Here" link? It's completely unhelpful in telling anyone about the Flow Water exclusions. Even after you click on the Terms and Conditions link on that page NCL directs you to.

I did follow the links and I agree they are unhelpful with respect to the water.  I'm going to try to save that screen shot I have in case the water disappears (which I expect it will).  We actually do drink the water, we'd likely buy a 6 pack so if I can get even one free, I'll take it.

My husband would drink the water too. Might cut down on the amount of Coke he consumes...which is a lot on the cruise. But, I agree with you that if it's offered (and seems valid for you), you should receive it. I'm hoping you get it!

I also have the water mentioned as part of the open bar package --- I hope we get it but I have my doubts...and who would I ask about it?

Me again...I never disappear for long. 🙂

I'm going to start with my stateroom steward. See if they can procure 6 liters of water for me as part of the package. If not, I'll mention it (in passing) to my butler. Otherwise, I'm just going to ignore it given I did book outside the very short window it was offered.

If you wanted to press forward, I think the next logical choice would be talking with the Cruise Next snake....errr staff. They are the ones that provide other Latitude perks and likely would be the ones to procure this for you, if it's valid for you.

NCL seems to be holding firm on that the original booking needs to be within that three-month time period and re-pricing does not qualify for the water.    However, yesterday I was notified, after a few e-mails, that we will be given one 6 pack of water as a good faith gesture, and I gladly accepted it.    I am not sure if it was given to me based on our NCL status, cabin booked, future bookings or just to make me stop e-mailing, but it does satisfy me.

For us, when we last repriced in November during that time period, I really thought we would get the water.   Again, I realize it is just water; however, since we were going to buy two 6 packs (there are four of us), it was going to save us around $45 and I am one that takes any savings I can get.   We use the water as back up to our personal water bottles when we leave the ship.

Good advice, but I have never found the Cruise Next staff helpful at all.

I just got back from Panama Canal cruise that left Miami on Jan 2nd - We had Club Balcony Suite, no free bottles of water were delivered to our cabin they were still trying to sell it to you.  As I dont drink water, It did not bother me not to get the free bottles as they would not have been used anyway.

I took a very similar screen shot a few days ago -- today the website (AND the App) both say I have the "Adult Beverage Package" instead of "Unlimited Open Bar Package" and of course, there's no FAQ with those words, and a search of the NCL site turns up no T&Cs for what the Adult Beverage Package provides.  We'll see in 2 more days (but I'm pretty sure we will only get the 2 Sapphire waters per person).

I fully expect you to have the correct number of cases of six IF you booked during the booking window.

There are no T&C's on the TA site either. I tried to find them with no luck. The Unlimited Open Bar Package is still showing up on ncl.com and lookie what I see (updated today)...what the F NCL.

I booked a year ago when we were booked for these dates Prima and that was canceled.  I get what I get.  It's fine, but irritating for them to "promise" something -- By displaying it on my booking page -- and then decide not to honor it.  Yeah, I'm a stockholder, yeah I cruise mostly with NCL.  Yeah I have two more after Sunday booked for 2024.  I'm still irritated.

Totally get it! That's me. And I understand NCL can change anything they want, anytime they want.

I still "claim" my last cruise (on any line) for awhile will be in March. That'll be four NCL sailings in the span of a year. Pretty sure, given all the cutbacks, I want more control over my vacation. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of unethical corporations that do things within the law, but don't have a moral code.

Anyway, if you booked your cruise between Sept. 14th and Dec. 15th, you are entitled to the six pack of water. It should show up on your confirmation as "WATER6PK." If you booked with NCL or a TA, ask them for a confirmation.

Top right corner looks like this:

That's pretty dramatic.  Most of us just plan vacations that will be fun for us without thinking about ethical complications.

Looks like no extra water for me 😢. Thank you for the info though.  Maybe I should refrain from buying extra cruise next certs next week... it might prevent me from booking out to 2025...  I seriously need to get some self control (that's not because of the water, just the whole thing).

Got back from our 1/14 Escape sailing today and we didn’t get our 6 bottles. I’” complained to guest services about it showing in the NCL app before the cruise and they simply said that it depends on the booking time and it says it in small fine print (allegedly). Still, why should it be showing up at all if I’m not receiving it? Not cool. NCL is giving away a ton of money in the form of free alcoholic drinks but you won’t give a customer 6 cartons of water to make them happy? Silly.

And fwiw, we booked in June for this January 2023 sailing.

I booked during the offer window for my upcoming April cruise, but I declined the drink package.  I'm thinking of adding the package.  I wonder if the water would also be added to my reservation since I did book the cruise during the window.  No biggie as they do give out the waters at the casino bar, which is where I usually load up on waters, but I'm just curious.

We also just returned from the 1/14 sailing on the Escape. We had 12 cartons of water waiting for us, plus our latitude waters. Our friends also had their water waiting for them upon boarding. 🤷‍♀️

When did you book?

Having come off the Gem, I can report guests with Free at Sea were given the 6-Liters of water. When I disembarked, the amount of water they were loading onto the ship would support a continuance of the program as well. Only problem is, if you do the upgrade advantage (bidding), most of the time the amenities won't be delivered (or if they are, they've gone to your old stateroom) depending on the date the bid is accepted.

Even the guests outside the three month booking range.?
