I can say with 100% certainty, (much to my disappointment) that there is no Coke Zero in the Princess fleet.

With 100% certainty there is Coke Zero on the Royal Princess. 😄

Here's hoping that Coke Zero will be available on all the ships, as last August 2023 on the Crown, they didn't have it. Only had Diet Coke. I guess I'll find out in December...

I'm glad that with the plus package that we can officially request cans instead of a glass from the fountain, but even last August 2023, most of the time I order a Diet Coke it was given as can. Only got a glass once and after that I avoid the rear pool bar, when ordering a drink.

Discovery Princess (Oct. 2022) and Regal Princess (July 2023) both had Coke Light in tall slim cans.  We prefer Diet Coke, but have found that the taste is different depending on where you are in the world.

Coke (the company) tweaks their beverage formulas, including the sweeteners used, for local tastes in most countries they sell in.  It's been a while since I've been to Canada, so I don't recall what a Canadian Diet Coke tastes like, but in most places outside the US Diet Coke/Coke Light tastes more like the Coke Zero than the Diet Coke that we get in the US.

Aloha,

Just got off the Crown five days ago, and still, no Coke Zero. If they have it on some of the ships, those are lucky folks indeed. I get back on this Thursday, and I'll let everyone know.

I think the highest chances of seeing Coke Zero are if your cruise is in Europe and it sounds like Australia. Our 2 European cruises last year - Enchanted in the Med, Sky for Norway had Coke Zero. Our Caribbean (also on Sky) in February did not.

I’m getting a little tired of begging for Coke zero sugar on Princess Cruises. We are elite, and every cruise on the questionnaire. We plead for them to include Coke zero sugar in their soda lineup. They spent so much time trying to please the alcoholics with every Drink  variety imaginable and seem to think that having 2 diet sodas is acceptable. It’s not and Diet Coke is terrible.

When NCL switched from Pepsi to Coke, they included Coke Zero and that made me very happy. I'm debating whether or not to get a soda package on our upcoming Princess cruise because I strongly prefer Coke 0, but can stomach the diet as long as it isn't served in the can. I'm glad we can still carry on sodas and waters on Princess.  We'll at a minimum bring diet mt dew for hubby since he doesn't like colas really at all.

You will almost exclusively receive canned sodas.  Agree Coke Zero in Australia tasted different.   Sweeter to me.

While we are on this topic…since many Princess cruises go to Ensenada, I’m planning on stocking in some Mexican Diet Coke…or Coke Light. It is pretty darn good…as good as Coke Zero IMHO

Diet Coke in Canada tastes like moose urine (as opposed to the U.S. version which tastes like bison urine).

Ugh, I hate Diet Coke, I am really hoping there will be Coke Zero on the Regal Princess British Isles this fall.

Or ANY zero drink at this point.

Aside from Diet Coke, do they carry any other diet pops?

No idea if they will have it on UK cruises, but not on one's out of FLL this spring.   Brought our own.

I don't drink a lot of alcohol, but when I want a rum and coke zero, diet coke doesn't taste the same. It's drinkable but not as enjoyable. I also wish they had diet ginger ale for the occasional whiskey ginger I like. I try to avoid excess sugar in my diet, and drinking sugary soda and sweet cocktails is one way to consume too much sugar too quickly. That's my one and only complaint about my first world problem today.

Definitely a first-world problem, but then, we are paying first-world dollars for the cruises, so I guess it is OK to hope for things we really like to be there. 🙂

I just got off the Diamond Princess and it was Coke Zero. I added a lemon slice to it to make it more palatable because I prefer Diet Coke as canned in the USA.

I'm surprised they don't have both. They definitely have a very different flavor. What was your itinerary?  Many countries have Coke Light which is more like 0 than diet. In AU and NZ when we were there this year, I found Coke Zero just about everywhere, which made me happy.

In general I am thankful for the blessings of my life, including being born in and living in a developed country. I also feel blessed to be able to cruise as much as I have in the past and hope to in the future. Asking to have the soda I like on an expensive vacation is not a lot to ask for in the overall scheme of things.  I learned when on cruises to ask for something you want in case they have it and you don't see it. It's okay to ask for what we want, it's best to be respectful when asking but still okay to ask. Thank you and happy cruising!

Was on Sky Princess from Southampton, England from May 24 to June 1, 2024.

Only diet soda in cans was Diet Coke and Sprite Zero.  Diet Coke also from bar gun/fountain.  2nd to last day of cruise all the bars were out of Cans of Diet Coke.  (no Coke Zero!!!!!!)

They still had Perrier but were also out of San Pelligrino around the same time.

Beer-wise, only IPA was Luganitas (sp?) was available until the bars ran out about I with about 2-3 days left.  IPA was apparently popular with many UK passenger.

As noted above…No Coke Zero..at bar or from Room Service for elite mini bar swap. I asked about it as I knew this had been a hot topic here in this thread.
