This will be my wife and I's third cruise with Carnival. Our first two were on the Dream class before Covid. Any advice on changes, Mardi Gras itself, or cruising with young ones (3 and 1) or my parents?

You'll find a lot of things different.   Summer Landing and Heros are good spots for older folks (like me).  Serenity deck too (alas, children can't go there but great escape spot for Grandparents or parents..   If you have Any Time Dining, take advantage of the Cucina and Teppanyaki, or Chibang vs the MDR.  Emerils is ala carte but great breakfasts. Your children may be too young for the roller coaster, though.    The Atrium has wonderful shows.  I like the theater without all the columns blocking the view.
