Just seen the web site today Gary Barlow is on our Arvia cruise first two weeks in may…to have a chance to see him you have to purchase a ticket for £10 which goes into a draw which if drawn out you get to see him.whatever next.!

Is that a raffle for charity?

 

I've spent a fortune buying tickets for my wife to watch Take That and/or Gary Barlow over the years

 

Shame he's not on our Arvia cruise!

 

Would be buying a few raffle tickets I imagine

 

(On second thoughts thats saved me some raffle ticket money!!)

I also got an email. I will definitely make a donation to an excellent charity and maybe get seats. It isn't compulsory so if you don't want to see the show or donate you don't need to.

We saw him on Iona in November on the second of the two cruises he was on.

It's £10 each to enter, and you can add the names of anyone you are travelling with on the entry form. Think our cruise raised just short of £25000, and slightly less on the previous cruise.

Not a fan of his or Take That, up to that point,  but would happily pay full price to go and see him again. Great evening for a worthy cause.

I saw that for sale on Arvia. I don't think it was cheap either.

We got a bottle of wine from Snoop Dog’s winery. It was awful and went down the sink. A few years ago, we were given some from Cliff Richard’s winery in Portugal (I think) which was almost as bad. Hopefully Gary Barlow’s will be better. You will just have to take that or leave it.

If I was onboard I would have a go. Very worthy charity if you are not successful and if you are a lot cheaper than some of the *rap P&O charge to see in the Limelight Club.

Yes one per person. You fill a form in with your cabin number and names and then put the form in boxes dotted round the ship which then goes in the draw

I suppose £10 seems cheap when you look at the charitable donation being paid to CPS parking. I guess some mugs will pay it.
