Third person in a penthouse

For those who have had a third person in a penthouse on Splendor or Explorer, and had a rollaway bed rather than a fold-out couch, where was the bed stowed during the day?

They take it away and bring it back at night.  Ask for the blow up

Is the blow up an air bed?  We’re planning a cruise on Explorer with a third person in a room. What are the options for the third bed?

We travel with our adult autistic son. We have had both the standard mattress rollaway bed and the air bed. The standard bed was removed and brought back every day. The air bed compacts down to a small cube and was left in Suite out of the way. Both worked wonderfully. We've done 2 cruises on Explorer with these beds. No issues.

Yes it’s an air bed.  The other option is a mattress.  Air bed much better!
