Getting off of the ship was much easier this time.

At the booth you had to read their restrictions, sign and date their clipboard.

 

They give you an orange bracelet and play the waiting game.

It would’ve been good information to know we were going to have to walk half a mile through the sand to our boat.

At this point you have to take your shoes off and climb that ladder.

I definitely wanted a window seat so I could have a good view of the whales when they’re on my side…if they were ever on my side….the only one available was row 2 star side.

We have two marine biologists….or so they say. But who would pretend to be a marine biologist?

We had to learn how to put on a life vest

Oh another thing they told us after everyone boarded and picked their seats. Everyone in the front is going to get very wet.

They had water for everyone in the ice chest

That is the bathroom. Nobody went down there other than this one crew member

The ride out there I would describe as…roaring rapids, log ride, splash waterfalls. I got soaked.

That’s not what happened when I went whale watching. 👀

Then we got to whale watching. The whales were on the other side of the boat the whole time. They never spun it around even though they told us they would try to allow both sides to see them. So what I got is what I could capture with both arms stretched out as high as I could.

 

I’ll have to review the videos closer  but I think this is all of the highlights.

On the way back tbey played music and poured rum punch.
