Carnival app says cruise check in opens 90

Days prior to sailing..we are sailing may 14th on the magic. The hub app says we can check in Feb 13th..

 

I expected the window to open around may 1st..

The App is somehow wrong and not how you check in anyways. The App has zero functionality before you actually board except to keep a countdown clock if you so choose.

Your Cruise Planner on the Carnival site will show the correct check-in date. To Do list will also have an option to print your documents.

Our April 21st. Cruise does not open until April 7th.

After you are paid in full you can check-in and print your docs and luggage tags, but not your boarding pass.  It can be printed 14 days prior to boarding or 16 days if you are platinum or diamond.

You cannot check-in until 16/14 days prior.  You used to be able to check-in when paid in full, but that changed to the 16/14 day rule.

From at least November 2015 to sometime in 2018 or 2019 you could check in right after booking.  It then changed to 90 days, not paid in full.

On my hub app, the check-in date it still shows is actually final payment due date.  I'm on central time, so get to check-in at 11:01pm.

You can also wait up to snag your arrival appointment time first thing, save it, and do the rest of your check-in later when you wake back up or what have you.

Yes, 11:01 Central time.  I usually log in and select the arrival time, and then wait till the next day to finish the rest of check in.
