Casino Bookings-Updated Process 🤞🏻

Well that is a step in the right direction as it will eliminate the long hold times.  But if they haven't found a way to keep these reservations from cancelling when the casino doesn't pay on time then they have a lot more work to do.  Any news on improvements on that front?

Tell me about!

Nothing official so far but some have reported that new bookings have been marked “Paid In Full” when they receive their paperwork.

I have not had that experience.

I had heard they had started doing that with some new bookings.  They need to have a plan to circle back and do this with the reservations that have already been made too.  We have only one future cruise booked and my only worry about it is that they won't pay on time.  We have a lot of other comp offers for Princess but I've been reluctant to use them because it's just not worth the stress.  Sure hope they figure this out soon.

Did they say that if the on line version will only work if you are booking the exact comp that you earned?  Or will you be able to upgrade?  We usually pay the upcharge to book a mini suite so if DIY doesn't have this capability we may have to call anyway.

My point as well. We always add Princess Plus if it is not already part of the deal also we upgrade to a full suite. I don’t think they will be able to handle all these things online

It may free up the lines tho, making it easier to get through to a rep…Now competency, that’s a different issue.

Wow.  It's out on the website already.  It shows $0 for your comped category then buy-ups from there.  Here's one on my "saved" list that I tested out pricing a mini suite:

ETA:  I didn't take it all of the way to booking and free play didn't appear in what I could see.  Not sure how that part works or if it will if you have multiple offers out there.  In addition I noticed that for some of the itineraries I had comped Plus and for others I didn't.  Maybe it is programmed to do this for specific cruises, or maybe a glitch???

So...do you do something special to see casino offers?  How did you get to the screens you shared?

I just logged in and used my saved cruises to see what they did.  This is how the first screen looks by the way which was my first clue that they enabled the comped cruise pricing (I currently get a comped inside):

So...you have to already have something on file with the casino department?

You need to have received either snail mail or email offers from the casino which usually happens after you've played what they deem to be enough to warrant offers.  The more you play the better the offers.  I'm kind of at the casino comps with training wheels part of the spectrum but am fine with that LOL.
