Rare LewiLewi Posted February 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2023 Has anyone stayed in cabin 602 on the Navigator. It is a window suite, no balcony. There are cabins above it but I see only empty space beneath it on deck 5. It is also a connecting suite. Any noise issues below this cabin? mrlevin Posted February 11, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2023 Below is staff/officer cabins; no issues with sound at all. You will hear the anchor drop and also the lines being drawn when you go into port but nothing bad.
HotRoot Posted February 11, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2023 I believe there is a pole/post in the middle of the suite. I know 601 has one. Nothing wrong with that. Just interesting.
Rare 2012_Alaska_bound Posted February 11, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2023 Love the location, but haven't sailed in a window suite. Easy walk to the coffee connection!
flossie009 Posted February 11, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2023 Deck 6 is a very convenient location. Can you take advantage of the 2 cabin upgrade offer to have a balcony? Pay for G, upgrade to E.
Rare LewiLewi Posted February 12, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted February 12, 2023 I was able to get a balcony cabin on deck 6 forward, so I am happy about that. Thank you all for your information.
Dolebludger Posted February 14, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2023 We have cruised in deck 6 forward cabins on the other side of this ship. This area of the Navigator is the smoothest riding and most vibration free part of the ship. We had a balcony, and 602 may have a window that looks out over a narrow outside crew passage. So close the curtains before doing anything you don’t want seen. And as I recall, 602 is a bit larger than other window suites.
ARDXXX Posted February 14, 2023 #8 Share Posted February 14, 2023 We are booked in suite 600 for a cruise next year, on the plan it looks as if it is much larger than others on that side, has anyone been in it?? we could have taken the two suite upgrade to a verandah but my wife likes the look of the extra space. Thanks.
