Queen Elizabeth cancelled Singapore shore excursions for March 16 2023

Does anyone know why the excursions have been cancelled  in Singapore for 16 March.  Full day on board ship on 16 March  before disembarking on 17 March. Just been advised that any excursions booked will be refunded in full.

They must have fallen out with the land tour operator!  Its very easy to do Singapore yourself - its about a 20min walk to the subway or taxis are reasonably priced and everywhere

There may have been a schedule change for your arrival at Singapore. Various online itineraries are showing your arrival at Singapore on March 16 is scheduled for 7:00pm. The itinerary on the Cunard website lists your arrival time as "Early Evening".

I've been following the QE and her itininary has changed. She is supposed to be in NZ, cruise Q309, but she left Melbourne and went to Eden and then Brisbane. She is expected to call at Cairns next. She is due to return to Melbourne to start the cruise to Singapore referred to in the post above.

I'm not sure the changes in Singapore are related.

The cancellation of Q309 to NZ and it's reschedule to Eden. Brisbane and Cairns may impact the sailing from Melbourne to Singapore. Cancellation of Shore trips in Singapore may indicate that this sailing will also be subject to change....

They can’t get into Singapore Marina Bay port on 16th until evening. They can only handle 2 ships in port at the one time. We are expecting to arrive around 7pm when one of the other ships leave. Disappointed for those who want to spend the day in Singapore but an extra day to enjoy the ship.

I don't think an extra sea day would make up for missing a day in Singapore.
