Europe Cruise Dress Code

We are going on our first Celebrity Cruise out of Europe (Greece, Italy, France, Spain) in the fall on Apex. Is the MDR dress code more dressy in Europe? We usually dress up on the 2 formal nights and the rest of the time, just smart casual. Mainly just don't want to be underdressed.

Celebrity did away with formal nights, now they call it evening chic. Dress up as formally as you like and you won’t be alone. On the other hand some will be decidedly informal on those nights

I don’t think you will notice much difference.  Fewer jeans at night and a few more men in suits or tuxedos & women in long dresses on Evening Chic.

Agree.  Did not find European cruises any fancier.

The passengers may or may not dress up a little more, but the dress code will be the same.

On an 8 night cruise when are the two get your fancy on nights?

We sail Europe often and you will see many dress a bit better than on a Caribbean Cruise but the dress code is the same.    You will probably see more dinner jackets, Tux and Fancy gowns on  European Cruises.   

 

If you enjoy dressing up you will not feel out of place and I'm sure you will both look wonderful.

 

Chic dress code was designed to allow guest to dress within limits as they choose
