chrissie p Posted February 17, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2023 I'm so excited to have booked a 7 night Med cruise on Celebrity Edge today. We have travelled a lot on Celebrity in the past but never on the Edge and all cruises were pre-pandemic. We are anytime dining and I have noticed that we have the choice of 4 complimentary restaurants, Cosmopolitan, Cyprus, Normandie and Tuscan. I just wondered if anyone had any views on these and how much they differ please? Thanks in advance Chris
TommyD3 Posted February 18, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2023 All four are very similar with slight differences in the decoration of each dining room. They each have the same menu on the right side that changes daily. The menu on the left side is the same every night but varies by dining room. I have provided them below: Cosmopolitan: Cyprus: Normandie: Tuscan: 1
chrissie p Posted February 18, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted February 18, 2023 Thanks for these TommyD3, I've had real trouble find them online or in the app. Chris
gofloat Posted February 18, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2023 Do you make reservations at these restaurants in advance or once on board? We are cruising on Apex later this year and do not know how things differ on the Edge class ships.

We have Select/Anytime dining for 6:00 PM for our March Apex cruise each evening. We decided on the Cosmopolitan dining room. We just walked up at openning time and were seated. No waiting.
JDPCruisers Posted February 21, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2023 We dined in 2 out of the 4 MDR's on Apex last April and found the atmosphere, food and service to be quite good. While we are Retreat guest, we will find some time to try them again on Edge in April.
Rcsignore Posted February 21, 2023 #8 Share Posted February 21, 2023 Trying to make reservations for dinners on the Edge for the April Transatlantic cruise, but availability for a 7 or 7:30 timeframe does not seem to exist. Can one just walk up to the restaurant at 7 and just hope for the best? Any suggestions

I thought Select/Anytime meant that you just show up whenever you want to. So what does Select/Anytime for 6:00 p.m. mean?

Thus less or no waiting and the same waitstaff each night.
rucruisn2 Posted February 21, 2023 #11 Share Posted February 21, 2023 We just walk up to whichever place we want and are seated. No reservation needed. Our last cruise in Jan. was on Apex. Going on Edge in March. We tried Blu one evening and wasn't impressed.

You have the option to make reservations in your CP.
SbbquilterUT Posted February 22, 2023 #13 Share Posted February 22, 2023 Our experience was that all the dining rooms are walk up when you want to eat. We found if we went at about 6:45 the folks heading to the early show had left and we could easily get seated.
