I was looking at XPEDIA for flights (never used them before) and this is for flying to Paris.......I have a WHY question.

If there are 3 choices for Business Class (all within my price range) and then I go to the actual Airline Website, WHY aren't those flights showing up for that same price? Hope it is not an unreasonable question.........looking at American Airlines.

Thanks for any help.

We never use third party to book air. First check flight matrix [not a booking site] to see all the options from FL. When you have narrowed down the dates and airlines, then go to their sites to purchase tickets.

Hi Darcy, thanks for the tip.  I have never used matrix and am trying to get my dates in there. Got the departure in but having an issue with the return date.....will keep trying LOL.......

Or you can copy and paste the WHOLE itinerary from flightmatrix into bookwithmatrixdot com and that will take you directly to the airline site with the itinerary prepopulated.

It is not an unreasonable question at all. And it speaks to a subject that a lot of the experts here try to explain to people: just because you're looking at the same flights doesn't mean you're looking at the same tickets. It could be simply a case of fare code differences, it could be a case of Expedia selling you 2 separate tickets on 1 itinerary, or some other difference.
