Sapphire dining rooms and question about shows on Alaska cruise

Just wondering about the different dining rooms on the Sapphire.  Is there a reason to pick one over the other?  I assume the menus are the same.

Also, on the Alaskan cruises, what time are the shows?  This will help us decide what time we want to dine.

Thanks!

Nope. Same menu, kitchen, service. Only difference is decor and location.

No one knows the exact show 5im3s for Alaska 2023, as none of those cruises have sailed yet..

If you like wine or cocktails, pick the one near the bar with the menu you like the most.  Drink service and wine selection in the MDR is not very good.

We loved the Savoy dining room.  It has a steakhouse like feel and is much quieter than dining rooms that we have experienced it the past on Princess.  Talk to Vicktoria there at the desk, she is wonderful and will ensure you have a wonderful experience.  Tell her Lorraine appreciated all her kindness!

Only if you like a certain waiter.

They all look different. When they first launched, they all had separate menus. That didn't last long. Then they went to one special menu item in each dining room (Savoy had pork chops, Santa Fe had fajitas, etc....) That was then eliminated in 2017 or so.

They do look different. I liked Pacific Moon look.

I would go with the dining room with the least wait times 🙂

I really like the Sapphire - hope you enjoy your cruise.
