I really enjoyed reading about your Hawaiian adventure. You put so much time and effort into this; thank you! 
 

DH and I laughed when we saw one of the Eggs Benedict pics because it reminded us of when I had it the first day on the Royal over Christmas, and the sauce they gave me was vanilla sauce instead of Hollandaise!! Talk about a mouth full of surprise! 🤢

eggs Benedict with vanilla would definitely be 'interesting.'!

Thanks for sharing. I am doing an Alaskan cruise so came for the pics of the ship (and food porn is always great to see also!) Going in with low expectations of this ship. 

 

Also had to laugh as Im originally from San Pedro, its my childhood hometown!

I always try to go from one end of the ship to the other & top to bottom the first day while the rest of my people relax & get settled...but I am guessing you mean where do you find it in all the hundreds of posts. so:

Thanks.  Your ships tour was on your own?  Princess use to have a ships tour that took you to places, like the engine room, the bridge where you couldn’t go to on your own.

just my own exploring...I don't believe they have restarted the ships tours, at least I have not seen one offered on the cruises I have been on since the restart

Just had a marathon reading session of over 6 hours.  Wow!  What a wonderful review.  Will be on  the Crown to Hawaii in Jan. and have made notes of which foods to choose.  

I just have to say I really would have liked to see a photo of you all enjoying the cruise. Maybe in Sabstini's? The bears were cute, but I'm a people person.

thank you for your kind words & managing to read the whole thing! I went to find a "people" picture to share with you & realized as I was searching that I barely took any this cruise...thanks for making me realize that, I will need to do better on our next cruises! Here is one of my sissy & BIL...

 

 

...I grew up in Fremont, last time I was back I barely recognized anything....

@travelin.sisters   I just noticed your recommendation to this review on another thread. We've just booked our first Princess cruise, sailing on the Crown for next year. San Francisco, through Hawaii and the Pacific to NZ. Our first time to all of these ports. I hope we have luck with the weather and docking. 

 

Thank you for such a fabulous and detailed review. I too am a planner and a researcher, people who don't like lists are suspicious to me 🤣 My pre cruise spreadsheet has already been prepared 😁

This has been fantastic to read, so much new information is brilliant. You have a wonderful writing style and it was a pleasure to spend a few hours this morning 'sailing' with you. 

Love the bears, also view people who don't like cute bears with suspicion 🧸

I hope you have a wonderful cruise. It is nice to meet another planner (although I sometimes like that my people are not too big of planners because then the just follow along with my plans & don't try to overrule them with their [obviously inferior😅] plans!

 

Thank you for your kind words, I find a live is a great way to be disciplined about a travel journal as I sometimes don't remember which cruise we did what on, now I copy my parts & the photos to a document for myself to look back on our good (or story worthy times)...
