Premier Cruise

I have received a Premier Casino offer. I have never done a Premier sailing before. Are the a lot of fun and worth doing?

If it's a cruise you would otherwise book (my last Premier was a Panama crossing), then I would say they are worthwhile. Note the casino will be packed, and there will be a lot of drawings for Premier cruisers only.  You will get some nice extras (the night before the canal crossing, they left me a Panama hat and sunscreen in my cabin).  So my bottom line is if a cruise I want to do is a Premier cruise, then yes, I would do it.  Otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way for a Premier cruise.

It's fun, includes some nice touches. Like @lazydayz said, I wouldn't go just to go.

I get a lot of casino offers - especially premier and ultra ones.  I have been on a few premiers, and while the giveaways were nice, and lots of "hot seat" contests, I now try to avoid them due to the casino being unbearably busy.

I have to agree with those saying that the casino is crazy packed for Premier and Ultra cruises.  Right now the casino offers I'm getting (Plan Now, Play Later and Play My Way) are much better offers so until that changes I doubt that I will take Premier, Ultra, or Elite offers.

 

Having said that - they are fun, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.  Just be prepared for a crowded casino.  If you've never done one, I think you should try it.  The games and give aways make you feel a little special.

I’m going on an Ultra on MG in a few weeks.   
 

No gambling money or OBC and the cabin was $900 pp for a balcony.  I booked this just because I have never received an Ultra offer.  I hope I don’t regret this.  🫣.  My hope was to receive an Elite offer sometime.

No free play.  🙁Just DOU in casino for me and DH who doesn’t set foot in the casino.    I’m hoping for a nice gift.

These were the Premier gifts on Panorama last year. Most of the games were scheduled later at night so we didn’t make it to any of them.

LOL! I, at this moment, have on a pair of those socks in a box (wife is a bit behind on laundry).

Love those socks, still have them from about 5 years ago and they've been washed 1000 times. I was asking the casino host on the Panorama last month and she said they dont have them anymore as they were part of a one-time promotion and stock is gone. BTW i never win in the casino while i am wearing them lol

My DH was delighted, especially since he’s not a fan of gambling or cruising.   
 

Again, the sole reason was to eventually score an elite cruise.  🤞

I would imagine you would be better off in a free room and blow the $1800 in casino for better offers.

Well its not too hard to win a free cruise. Problem is casino year there ends mar 31 so it will be harder to make prime.

I can't justify paying $700-$800 pp more for a Premier or Elite. Other offers are much cheaper for the same cabin and date lately.

everything else being equal, I might spend the extra dollars for an Elite, definitely not for a premier.

Booked a Nov 11 Splendor Premier Cruise out of Sydney. First premier made note of the post stating packed casino. This cruise may have wait lines at the machines as it is also a Brian Christopher Cruise. Long waits but I still plan on having fun. As Brian says it is all in the timing.
